Please be cautious with the GF Pizza at Flying Pie. I am not convinced that they take the extra care to ensure the pizza stays Gluten Free. I was sick for weeks after trying the GF Pie.
Last time I went to order from there I asked a couple of questions regarding cross-contamination. The entire staff present told me and my boyfriend straight out that they don’t separate anything, that the GF pizzas are placed in the same places in their oven as the regular pizzas, and that there is “probably flour all over the place”. I wish I was exaggerating this. If you are very allergic, please be very careful there!
Wow! Well, they get points for being honest, at least. Thanks for letting us know.
Beware, they do not have a designated area to prepare the GF pizza. They say the heat from the oven kills the gluten contamination. This is not true. They use the same pans, ladles, etc. The pizza is good but contaminated.
Its not worth the risk. Ordered gluten free pizza expect they gave me toppings that were not gluten fre… DO NOT EAT HERE. NOT GLUTEN FREE
