Family Style – Abby’s Table is a wonderfully unique restaurant. It is 100% gluten & dairy-free. Dinners are served on Wednesdays only, at 7pm, and reservations are required (must be made before 10am on the day of the dinner). Every week offers a new menu. The cost is $18 per person. Abby also holds dinner demonstration classes every other Saturday. These are $35.

Thai – From a reader: “Hey, just wanted to give you a heads up on a Thai restaurant called Thai Fresh. It is located on 84th and Division on the north side of the street. I had dinner there last night and the food was great. The best part is that if you tell them you can’t have gluten, they will modify the use of their spices (including using wheat free soy sauce) and if you are eating family style they will also leave gluten out of the rest of the dishes! The staff were really great and when they did not know the specifics of something, they quickly went to ask the chef and found out exactly. My boyfriend is not so sensitive that we have to worry about cross contamination effects so I am not sure about that aspect. Rice and beans bowl with delicious sauce. We’ve been told that the cheese there is not gluten-free, so order without to be safe! The owner contacted us to correct this. They have verified with the manufacturer that there is no gluten in the cheese they use. So now you can enjoy it with cheese!
