I did ask at Grilled Cheese Grill and they (at least the cook I had) take the time to splash water and wipe down the grill before doing the gf bread. Although I realize tolerance levels vary, for myself (and I do have celiac) I am satisfied with this. It's hard to pass up the opportunity for eating out at carts and restaurants. Do some celiacs have their own set of pots and pans at home? Cleaning the grill is much like washing a frying pan in your own kitchen when you share a house with gluten eaters!

Teresa, thanks for letting us know! Sometimes we worry because we can't always know what goes on behind closed kitchen doors. We just try our best to provide a starting point and always appreciate readers' comments to help fill in some of the question marks. Bon Appetit!
