Virgo & Pisces will be at the PDX GIG Support Group on the second Saturday in Sept. if any of your readers are interested in having a chat with them and sampling some food. Our meeting location changes that month so look to join us at the Legacy Emanuel Children's Hospital in NE PDX. Cheers~

Okay, you have definitely convinced me to try out Virgo and Pisces GF Pizza. I was a little skeptical when I first heard they have it, but your review convinced me. They are walking distance from where I work, so I'll get right to it! I love that they are dedicated GF for pizza - the owner there is very GF friendly and has made other items on the menu GF. I haven't been there in a long time, but they used to have a battered shrimp made with rice flour that was very good. That they serve Red Bridge clinches it!

I really liked the pizza at V&P! It wasn't perfect, but it cured my craving and the crust was perfectly crisp! :) I will go back for more! (Plus they serve Redbridge!)

Since you're downtown, you should try the food carts in Pioneer Square for lunch. The "fish" at No Fish Go Fish are made with wheat so that's a no go, but the soups are good and usually gluten-free.

There is also a Whole Bowl cart.
http://www.thewholebowl.com/where.html

Over in the Pearl there is the Blossoming Lotus who are very gluten-free friendly (although they do use some wheat, I have been told the owner doesn't like to.)

Look for Blossoming Lotus and No Fish Go Fish on our restaurant list.

Although it's not gluten-free really, the staff at Portland City Grill is very gluten-free-friendly. It has a great view of Portland, and is a fun place to sit in the bar at happy hour and order some food.
Have fun in Portland!

Thank you thank you thank you for this website! I'm in Portland for a few days and I can't wait to try some of your recommendations. If only all cities were as gluten-free friendly.

If you have an opinion on a great place to go near The Nines hotel (in SW I think) I would greatly appreciate the recommendation!

Again -- great site!
