It is a tiny, all gluten-free shop that makes waffles fresh to order. I tried that banana honey nut and a pumpkin pie waffle; which were both very tasty and filling. I haven't tried the Trader Joe's waffles, though. I can't imagine that they are as good as fresh waffles, but they might be good in a pinch. I think they are discontinued! Ugg! They are my favorite and great with peanut butter on them for a quick energy treat. Love Them. Bring them BACK please! Basically all of the Trader Joe's gluten free products have this disclaimer, and it's frustrating to not know what they mean. I mean, does it mean that it might be on a conveyer belt that's covered with wheat? Like you, we worry about this, too. As for how bad it is, it depends on what your current health situation is and how sensitive you are to gluten. I would recommend checking with your health care provider. That’s a good question.
